YOGA
Step into a nurturing space where yoga becomes a journey of the heart — blending breath, movement, and stillness to awaken inner wisdom, deepen connection, and remember the divine within.
For nearly 25 years, I have had the profound honor of guiding students through the sacred art of yoga — a journey of breath, body, and being. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Hatha Yoga and enriched through years of experience across all ages and abilities, my teaching is a blend of structure, intuition, and heart.
A Path Rooted in Tradition and Love
My early training in Anusara Yoga at At One Yoga shaped my understanding of alignment-based practice — the way the physical form becomes a gateway to inner harmony. I later deepened this foundation through an advanced 500-hour program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, where my commitment to wellness, energy, and transformation blossomed even more fully.
What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is the traditional branch of yoga that emphasizes physical postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) as a way to purify the body and prepare it for meditation. It brings together the “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha) energies — balancing strength and surrender, effort and ease. Hatha is not just a style of yoga; it is a profound spiritual discipline, inviting students into the present moment through mindful movement, deep breath, and sacred awareness.
Teaching from the Inside Out
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of sharing this practice with children, elders, and every age between. No matter who is in the room, my intention is always the same: to awaken the teacher within.
Through energetic and intuitive movement, I guide students to listen — truly listen — to the quiet wisdom of their bodies. By softening the outer noise, we come home to the inner teacher, the part of us that already knows the way. In this place, the physical practice becomes a prayer of the heart — expansive, healing, and transformational.
The Medicine of Yin Yoga
Though I teach many forms of asana, I hold a deep love and reverence for the stillness and subtle depth of Yin Yoga.
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues, ligaments, and joints. Postures are held for several minutes at a time, offering the body an invitation to soften and surrender. This practice is not about striving, but about being — resting in the edge of resistance, breathing through the discomfort, and discovering the silent spaces within.
It is here, in this sacred stillness, that many students come to understand meditation in a completely new way. Yin offers a chance to dissolve tension not only from the body, but from the soul — unveiling the quiet, loving presence that lives inside each of us. Through it, we remember our own divine nature.
A Space for You to Come Home
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, my offerings are rooted in compassion, authenticity, and deep presence. I invite you to step onto the mat not to become better, but to remember that you are already whole.
Let us journey together — with breath, with intention, and with love.
